The leitmotif of the amazing album by violinist Josef Špaček and cellist Tomáš Jamník is the word: journeys. The two outstanding artists will present their diverse musical journeys in a concert with works by Leoš Janáček, Arthur Honegger and Bohuslav Martinů. Authors whose life journeys were intricate and often difficult. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, they were able to compose beautiful instrumental dialogues laced with optimism and hope. Their emotional testimony is a reminder of the powerful role music can play in our lives.

At the beginning of the concert, there will be a short lecture to the painting by Toyen: At a castle La Coste. The lecture is in Czech only.
